Don't be left "Home Alone" when you can "Jingle All the Way" to our Williams Holiday Family Night on Thursday, December 7th starting at 6:00 pm. Bring your favorite cookies to exchange with one another, sip on some hot chocolate and see if you can win the prize for the Ugliest Holiday Sweater.

The students and staff at Williams Elementary wish Ms Cisneros a Happy Birthday Today. Thank you Ms Pena's third grade class for the sweet serenade in both English and Spanish!

 

Life happens and we don't always have what we need to make it through the holidays. If a warm meal is something that your family can benefit from, here are some dates and locations that are providing free warm meals to the public:

Please join us on Tuesday, November 14th starting at 6 pm for our next PTA Assembly. After the business portion of the night, families will be able to test their detective skills by trying out different forensic science activities.

Please join us as we pay tribute to those who have served our country through a music. Performances will be at 9 am and 6 pm in the cafeteria.

If you were unable to come by to sign up for the Operation Blue Santa Holiday Giving program on Friday, November 3rd, there are still applications available through the Parent Support office. In order to qualify for assistance, you will need to bring the following:

The Primetime Afterschool Enrichment Program begins on Monday, November 6th. 

Regular Attendance is an important part of your student's success in both academics and making healthy life choices. It is our goal to assist you in ensuring your student is present in class each day from 7:45 am to 2:57 pm.

On Thursday, November 16th, there will be a handful of campus beautification projects for you to participate in as a part of National Parent Involvement Day. We invite you to leave your positive mark at Williams Elementary while showing your student how much you value community involvement.

On Friday, November 17th during your student's lunch period, we will be offering meals to additional family members so that you can enjoy lunch with your student. Cost for adults/guests is $3.50 or there are a-la carte choices.

Please join us for a fun and interactive Parent Workshop presented by Pam Martin of the Social Emotional Learning Department. It will start at 8 am on Tuesday, November 7th in the Parent Support Office. Coffee will be provided.

Only TWO more days until the Fall Semester Box Top Blast-off is over! All Box Tops are due by Friday, October 27th in order to be counted towards the Ice Cream Sundae challenge. Here are the results as of Wednesday, October 25th:

The first Spring Carnvial Committee Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 26 at 3:30 pm in the PSS office. Even if you have not signed up to be on the committee, you are still welcome to attend and learn about available volunteer opportunities.

A jungle is growing from the Parent Support Office and Wild Things have been spotted. Are you courageous enough to join the Wild Rompus? 

Our First Spirit Night of the school year will be on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 at Panda Express.

Hey Wildcats! Let's get pumped up for our First Neon Nights Fun Run by wearing your BRIGHTEST school appropriate clothes to school on Friday, October 20th, 2017. Please be sure all clothing is still within dress code.

Veterans Day is November 11th, 2017 and it has been a tradition at Williams Elementary to honor those who have served in the military or who are still active.

Third Grade classes will be attending the Nutcracker Ballet on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017 from 12-1 p.m. Sponsors have made it possible to enjoy this performance at a reduced rate of $4 per student. Each student needs to return their money to their homeroom teacher no later than November 1st.

Way to go Ms Wiley and Williams Elementary Students! On September 15th, 2017, we were awarded as an Exemplary Elementary School by the Mayorś Health & Fitness Council. This is a great achievement and we are proud to be recognized for making healthy choices in our community. 

The Williams Fall Book Fair will begin on Monday, October 23rd thru Friday, October 27th. The Times are as follows:
