This week is Administrative Professionals Week (April 23-27) and we are very lucky to have Ms Ashley Aparicio, our Registration/Enrollment guru and Mrs, Janie Kelly, the nuts and bolts of most of Williams Operations.

Today, Friday April 20th, we honored some amazing volunteers and partners for their dedicated service to the Williams Wildcats community.

Although all of our volunteers are amazing, let's celebrate these following individuals and partners:

This month's Family Night is going to be all about "who is the best"! Come join us on Thursday, April 26th beginning at 6 pm for Wildcat Family Game Night. Let's see who the best player in the family truly is OR maybe you want to go head-to-head with another family to see who prevails.

Although Earth Day is officially on Sunday, April 22nd, why not celebrate it all week long.

Want to know what the Cafeteria is serving each day, download this handy app called School Cafe and you can search by day or month. You can also see what is being served at other campuses if you have students attending different schools.

The deadline for enrolling your child in our fabulous Prek 3 and/or PreK 4 program is quickly approaching. All paperwork must be submitted by April 29th. Williams Elementary is accepting transfers.

This week, April 16th-April 20th, is Volunteer Appreciation Week.

ThankYou to all the volunteers we have been lucky to have this school year at Williams. You have made this year an amazing experience!

They may have tried to stump us by squeezing this VIP recognition in with STAAR testing week, but let's give a HUGE shout-out to our amazing Assistant Principal Michelle Good. She is definitely 100% Wildcat and we are lucky to have her in the Williams family.

Next week is Librarian Appreciation Week (April 9-13). Even with STAAR testing going on, don't forget to show Ms Tarsha our love and appreciation!

ALL of our Wildcat students are amazing and we are fortunate to have students in our Gifted and Talented program.

Today, the Williams PTA was announced PTA of the Year. This is something EVERY person involved with Williams should be proud of whether you were an active member or not.

Beginning Wednesday, April 4th thru Friday, April 6th (or while supplies last), the PTA Board will be selling individual Deanan Gourmet Popcorn packets for $2 each. A variety of flavors will be available including Vanilla, Caramel, Dark Chocolate and Kettle Corn.

Order your Spring Carnival wrist-band from now until Wed., April 11th. The pre-sale price for a wristband is $10 per student. This year's Spring Carnival is going to be the BIGGEST event of the year so you don't want to miss out on the fun.

If you were unable to place your order for your student's classroom picture on Thursday, March 22nd, we will still be accepting late orders until Monday, March 26th. Please complete your order form and remit payment to Ms Darling or put it into the brown PTA box in the front lobby of the school.

An email went out to guardians today from Dr. Cruz, Superindendent of AISD. You will find a copy of that letter attached here in case you have not received it. Please remember the motto "See something, Say Something" in reference to reporting anything suspcicious you may see or hear about.

It is that time of year again when we will be commemorating your student's image in both the Spring Portraits and Classroom Portraits as well as finalizing the Yearbook.

Today, Friday, March 9th, the Curiosity Cube created by Millipore Sigma visited Williams Elementary and 4th and 5th grade students were able to get up close and personal with different scientific foundations.
